That’s right, people. We will consider the States our home once again. We are becoming more and more excited as we plan our return. It’s not exactly how we originally planned it, but it is absolutely part of God’s plan, which is higher than ours!
So, this is a short, but sweet prayer request post.
Since our last blog post we have raised *almost* enough for our plane tickets. We are just a few hundred dollars short and hoping to purchase them within the next week or two, before the prices go up.
Update! Experiencing God as provider is so much fun! We got a completely unexpected check in the mail for over $500 yesterday. Long story short, whenwe sold our car a year ago, we were owed money back from purchasing the GAP insurance. We did everything by the book to get the money back and never heard anything back from them. Just the day before yesterday I (Stephanie) was thinking about that money and how we could totally use it right about now. I decided to let it go, assuming it would only be $100-$200 anyway, and the next day we woke up to an email from my dad (our mail in the States goes to his p.o. box) about the check! So praise God, we are ready to buy our tickets for two months from today.
New prayer requests, since we can now check that one off our list:
Jobs/work in Santa Rosa for Shawn and I from May-September
A place to stay for those 4 months
Some sort of transportation just for those 4 months
Figuring out health insurance
Definitely pray, but if you have any leads, offers, suggestions or recommendations for us, please let us know!
We are truly enjoying this scary and unknown adventure with Jesus and we love sharing about what He is doing in our lives with others. When we get back to the States, we want to meet up with any and everyone who is even slightly interested in hearing about what our lives have looked like and where God is leading us next. We plan on reaching out to you and you and you. But please don’t be afraid to reach out to us, too. We are all on this journey together and truly need each other.
Love and blessings,
Stephanie, Shawn and Elijah
